And do you want to make a change?
The focus of my coaching engagements is to ignite and enable peak performance of female talent at all levels. Through dramatically increased self-awareness, personally optimized leadership, strengths and needs assessment, and the illumination of blind spots, you are able to fully ‘show up’ in the workplace, lead powerfully and successfully manage others and their careers.
- Tackle your ‘Saboteurs’
Saboteurs are those niggling little thoughts that come into your head whenever you think about challenging yourself (others are better than me, what will they think of me, they’ll find out I’m not good enough etc.). I will support you to identify your true potential and embrace your authentic power. So you’ll play bigger and take powerful steps forwards to the change you aspire to. - Create a clear picture of you at your best
What are your personal values? What do you want to contribute to in your life? What motivates you? What are your strengths and skills? Etc.
- Make powerful choices
Sometimes it’s hard to see the wood for the trees. I will guide you to think through all the possibilities open to you, so that you make confident choices. - Take courageous steps
Whether you want to play bigger at work or a complete career change, everything starts with taking that first important step. I will support you in making a clear action plan.
Regardless of any new challenges that may and will arise, and let’s be real, there will be some curveballs from time to time, you will be able to stay motivated and on the right path to a happy, fulfilling work life.

My story
Personal life lessons
When I was young, my mother gave up her job to work in my father’s company. Unfortunately, my parents ended up having a divorce and my mother had little to fall back on. This had an impact on her mental health as well. It was a difficult period in my life, but also a huge lesson:
I will never let this happen to me and my future family because I will hold dear my personal ambitions.
As a passionate advocate for gender equality with 20 years consulting, management and entrepreneurial experience in 4 different countries, I now support women in creating the work life they aspire to and I partner with organizations to retain and advance their female leaders at all levels.
I’m happily married, a proud mother to a son and a daughter and I love running.
Challenging years
I can only say that the first years of being a mum were challenging years.
Racing to the nursery and feeling guilty because there were just a few children left to be picked up, not always enjoying the children’s bedtime because I was still thinking of my work, spending less quality time with my husband because on the evenings when we didn’t exercise, we were regularly stuck behind our laptops. I can go on and on…
Of course, I regularly wondered: ‘Why am I doing this?’
But I really enjoyed my job, learned new skills, developed myself, made a valuable contribution to society and was financially independent. My husband’s support made it possible for me to hold onto my own career.
On an adventure
In spring 2015, my husband phoned from his work and said that he had been offered a job in Austria. He was very happy. Although we knew that a job abroad was a possibility, it made me nervous.
What would it mean for our children? What opportunities would I have there?
But the desire for adventure won and 3 months later we found ourselves in Linz.
During the first few months I was very busy organising a lot of things for the children and our new home, but still I felt useless… I missed my own professional challenge and independence.
Off the beaten path
Someone advised me to talk to a coach about it, but I thought, “Why? I just have to solve this myself.” On the other hand, it also made me think, because I noticed that I was feeling a bit “stuck”.
Eventually I started with a coach who was experienced in coaching women who went abroad with their partners. It was nice to think outside my ‘beaten path’ and to explore new possibilities.
Because of this experience, I ended up taking a path that I would’ve never even imagined if we had stayed in the Netherlands. I started a business as a franchisee offering outdoor sports workouts for women – Mom in Balance.
After 1.5 years I had built up a solid company of 60 participating women and a team of 3 trainers.
A step further
In May 2017 my husband came home from work and asked: “How about England?” I knew that life abroad had brought our family a lot of wonderful things and that I had been able to realize my ambitions in another country.
Yet the prospect of again saying goodbye to friends and my own company made me nervous for the second time.
Fortunately, I have been able to sell my company. Something that I am very proud of!
Working with and empowering women gave me such a sense of fulfilment and I decided that I wanted to work on the theme of ‘gender equality’ in a broader way.
When I had the opportunity to start with one of the most rigorous coaching courses in London, I grabbed it with both hands.
I’m now a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC). I’m accredited by the International Coach Federation (PCC) and I also completed a specialization in Career Coaching.
I think it’s fantastic that, with my professional background and life experience I can now support strong positive changes in the lives of other women.
Well, that was enough about my story.
What about planning a free 1-hour chemistry session?
In this session you can tell me more about what you’d love to achieve, I will share more about what coaching is and how I work (method, price etc.). We also do some coaching so you can experience for yourself if I’m the right coach for you. There is no obligation at all. If it doesn’t work out, I hope you’ve gained some useful insights to immediately take positive steps in your work life!
My values
When I completed my coaching course and founded my coaching company for women, She does it, I was very clear about my mission: To support women in creating the work life they aspire to.
At the heart of my business lie five core values:
1. Action based
She does it and so can you! Navigating change can seem daunting – I know, I’ve been there. I will help you get clear on your goals and encourage you to take ownership and proactive steps towards making successful change.
2. Authenticity
We live in a demanding world, and we all have ideas or assumptions on what we think society (family, friends, your manager etc) expects from us. Sometimes it feels like a heavy obligation, other times it’s an expectation of perfectionism that we have set upon ourselves. This can lead to a lack of confidence. Through increased self-awareness, you will ignite your inner fire again and maximize your potential. You’ll be able to fully ‘show up’ in both your professional and personal life.
3. Connection
From the moment we start working together, you will have your own career champion. Someone who is there to help you figure it all out and support you throughout our entire coaching journey, not just during formal coaching sessions, but there to reply to a quick WhatsApp message if needed. And in my group programmes women make new connections and empower each other. That’s so powerful!
4. Gender Equality
I want to be part of a culture in which both women and men can thrive. My business was founded to support women like you to move forward in their professional lives. Because I’m convinced that when women have fulfilling work lives, they are happier, they are financially independent, they are role models for their children and our society benefits from more gender equality.
5. Independence
Through my personal experience, my purpose is to give you career support when you need it most to create the work life and financial independence that you aspire to.
Coaching with me
I love working with women to help unlock their thinking and get clear on their goals, challenge any expectations or assumptions that may be holding them back, and to determine their true North Star and the right course of action to move forward in their work life.
